Ukrainian Bilingual Program

Our Ukrainian bilingual program begins in kindergarten at Bishop Filevich Ukrainian Bilingual School. The program in high school, which continues at Bethlehem Catholic High School, includes Ukrainian Christian Ethics and Ukrainian Language Arts. In Grade 11 or Grade 12, students may participate in an exchange program by travelling to Ukraine or by hosting a student from Ukraine.

The goals of our Ukrainian bilingual program are for students to become functionally bilingual and develop an understanding and appreciation of the Byzantine Church tradition and Ukrainian-Canadian culture and heritage.
