Community Garden

In partnership with the Varsity View Community Association, Bishop Murray High School has a Community Garden on site.   Our students will participate in the preparation, planting, maintenance and harvesting of the garden.  There is an educational component as each Homeroom is assigned a plot and will receive instruction and information about gardening and food production.  Many of the plots are assigned to members of the community.  We ask students be respectful of our neighbours’ efforts and avoid the garden area except during assigned times.  In October, we will harvest the garden.
