Driver Education

A Driver Education Program is available at Bishop James Mahoney High School. Instruction is offered through Klassen Driving School (klassendrivingschool.com; 306-382-2742).

Emphasizes instilling a mature driving attitude and developing good driving skills among drivers.
Thirty hours of in-class instruction after school during a four-week period followed by six hours of in-car instruction.
Eligibility: Students are eligible if they are aged 14 years and 9 months.
Students must be aware that they may be disqualified from the driver education program for absences from the in-class and/or in-car instruction. The driver education teacher will inform students about the requirements of the program.
Disqualified students may be required to register with an external driver educator at their own cost. Current cost for this service is approximately $600.

How do I register my child for Driver’s Education?
Once your child is 14 years and 9 months old, simply go to www.klassendrivingschool.com and click the Application tab. You will receive an email from Klassen.

How do you sign up for the drives with the teacher at school? I am done the class and was wondering how you sign up for the in-person driver lessons.
Our driver instructor's phone number is posted on the Main Office bulletin board. Give them a call and let them know that you have drives to complete.
