Faith and Learning
St. Mark Community School is guided by gospel virtues: Service, Love Justice, Community, Reconciliation, Courage, Faith and Hope. We begin each day as a school family with a gospel virtue reflection, student-led prayer and morning announcements.
In our school, our goal is to assist parents and the local Church community in the formation of students in heart, mind, body and spirit. Catholic education embodies the words of Psalm 32:8 "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go." Our faith permeates all we do in our day to day work and actions. Our faith also sustains us. Joshua 1:9 tells us to "be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
Teachers and support staff of Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools believe in equal dignity and shared responsibility for all individuals. Our educational and spiritual goals are above all to provide educational opportunities that affirm the dignity and worth of each person.
