Kindergarten Registration

We are currently accepting registrations for new Kindergarten students to begin school in Fall 2024, for children born between January 31, 2019 and January 31, 2020.

Complete a registration form https://go.gscs.ca/k8form, email registrations to Pope.johnpaul@gscs.ca or print the form and bring it to the school office between 9:00 - 3:30 Monday to Friday. 

*You will need your child's birth certificate or baptismal certificate when registering. 

*If you require bus service, please let us know and we can check your home address to see if you qualify for bus service. 

Notice: Kindergarten Policy Change for the 2025-26 School Year

Up until this Fall 2024, Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools’ Kindergarten Admittance policy states that:

Children will be admitted to Kindergarten provided they are five (5) years of age on or before January 31st of the school year in which they wish to register (Saskatoon).

Other than Saskatoon Public Schools, all other divisions in the province use a December 31st eligibility date for Kindergarten eligibility. This includes GSCS out-of-town schools in Warman, Martensville, Biggar and Humboldt.

Both Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools and Saskatoon Public School’ administration have amended the Kindergarten eligibility date to state:

As of Fall 2025, Children will be admitted to Kindergarten provided they are five (5) years of age on or before December 31st of the school year in which they wish to register.

The amended eligibility date be effective Fall 2025 to allow families time to adjust to the change.
