New to Canada? 

All children who were not born in Canada or who have never attended a GSCS school must make an appointment prior to registering. Please click on the link to  book an appointment at our Newcomer Registration Centre at 420 22nd Street East.

You can download, complete and return a registration form for each child. (Please see forms below)

Important information you will need:

• Proof of age - birth certificate
• all contact information (home address, phone number, and work numbers)
• Baptismal certificate (if you have one)
• An emergency contact, their address and phone number in case we can not reach you.
• Your family doctor's name and phone number
• Knowledge of the previous schools your child attended or previous school registered at, even if they never attended. 
• Kindergarten - Children who will be 5 years old on or before December 31, 2025 (birthday before December 31, 2020) can register. 
• Pre-Kindergarten classes are for children 3 and 4 years of age. Children must be 3 by September 2025.
