Virtual Classroom Tour
Choosing French immersion education for your child is an important decision, one which requires a great deal of information.
If your child will be starting kindergarten in September 2025, you and your child are welcome to join our current kindergarten classes during playtime for a visit on the following dates:
Thursday, March 27th 1-2 pm
Thursday, May 1st, 1-2 pm
Thursday June 5th,1-2 pm
There is no need to register for these 3 dates
Our school is friendly, safe, welcoming and ready to help your child reach his or her full potential. We nurture faith, encourage excellence in learning and inspire students to reach out and help others – at home and around the world.
Children who will be five years old by December 31, 2025 may begin kindergarten in September 2025.
Registration for the 2025-2026 school year is currently open.
New to Canada? Please book an appointment at our Newcomer Registration Centre at 420 22nd Street East.
Registrations can be done in person or by emailing the following documents to the office coordinator, Julie Tolmie jtolmie@gscs.ca
- École St. Matthew School Student Registration Form 2025-2026
- Non Catholic Declaration (if applicable)
- Hertz Northern Bus Registration Form (if applicable)
- copy of student's birth certificate
- a copy of the student's baptismal certificate
