The Saskatoon Industry Education Council is excited to announce CONNECTED: YOUNG WOMEN EXPLORING CAREERS (Dinner Event) on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2024.

CONNECTED links high school females with women mentors from various career backgrounds. Throughout the event, the students interact with other female students and several “mentors” from our community, sharing stories, career goals, and life lessons.

CONNECTED empowers and creates connections between successful women and young females. We welcome students considering all pathways, whether entering the workforce, pursuing university, college, or apprenticeships, or still exploring their options.

This event gives young females the opportunity to:

  • Receive career advice and guidance from professional women
  • Develop career connections
  • Explore various career options
  • Engage in additional career exploration activities

In addition, we invite grade 12 students to apply for the MARY DAVIES EMPOWERMENT SCHOLARSHIP and for students to nominate a peer for the CONNECTED EMPOWERMENT AWARD.
