1744040180903.jpegThe Princess Shop has "the dress program."

The Princess Shop’s Dress Program lends donated dresses and accessories to women, girls and 2SLGBTQ+ graduates facing financial and/or social barriers, to create an equivalent graduation experience to their peers. The organization hopes to find the perfect dress for graduates who are facing financial and/or social barriers when it comes to graduation and beyond.

The Princess Shop does not discriminate based on gender expression, gender identity, or sexual orientation. In addition, there is no age limit, if the graduate is graduating from a recognized education program in Saskatchewan, they are eligible to submit a registration form.

Grade 12 graduates in Saskatoon also have access to donated services, including hair & makeup by MC College and professional photography by Wanda Keen.

There is no proof of income requirement for the Dress Program it is based on the submission of the form and the honour system that applicants’ self identify as an individual who perceives oneself as “facing barriers to the opportunities, experiences, or advantages enjoyed by peers in their community, socially or economically.”

Dress appointments must be booked in advance (walk-ins are not available due to volunteer availability). To request a dress appointment, please call us at 306-222-3311 or email info@theprincessshop.ca.
