2021-22 school year approved
The Board of Education has approved the academic school year calendar for 2021-22.
A committee that includes teachers (high school and elementary), principals and vice-principals (high schools and elementary), CUPE staff, a representative from Human Resources, and a member of Executive Council reviewed options. Representatives from the division had discussions with public school divisions in which we have schools: Saskatoon Public Schools, Prairie Sprit, Horizon and Sun West. Feedback was also provided by the board.
Key dates include:
• September 1, 2021 start date;
• A two-week Christmas break;
• A February break connected to the Family Day statutory holiday;
• A spring break connected to Easter;
• June 29, 2022 the last day of classes for elementary students; and
• June 30 high school report cards.
